Akeome Battle — Okayama's New Year dance battle running since 2005 — moved from TERRA SQUARE to Lunesse Hall in Uchisange, Kita Ward on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Crews came in from across Chu-Shikoku and the Kansai region, with east Japan also represented through Tokyo (Nishiogikubo and Ikebukuro) and Kagoshima. Three brackets ran in parallel: Regional Breakin' Crew Battle with 32 crews, College Freestyle Crew Battle from five universities, and U15 Breaking Solo Battle with 84 entries — U15 grew further from 78 a year earlier. Seven hours, three brackets, one floor.
Regional Breaking went to Hyogo's Sweet Coast Kobe City, who beat Taishō's WORKSJAP in the final. TOP4 finished with Nishiogikubo's MICE and the Kobe / Himeji crew Black Thoughtful Kind. College Freestyle stayed with Kobe University's jetter, who took down Okayama University's SBF in the final to seal back-to-back titles. U15 Solo went to Hiroshima's Bukkomi No Taku over Ehime's KAISEI in the final — a new champion riding in from the west.
