01 — Overview
Where it all started — right by the station.

On September 17, 2022, OK BREAK — the association's first flagship event — opened at JR Okayama Station's Ekichika Plaza. Thirty-two crews from fifteen prefectures lined up for the 3 vs 3, and twenty-four U15 soloists from seven more. The passage running from the station to AEON Mall Okayama filled with commuters and spectators all afternoon.
The 3 vs 3 crown went to HEROES (Osaka / Gifu) — fifteen-year-old TSUKKI flanked by m0nm0i and KENT. In the final they swept KIP (Kobe / Okayama / Osaka) 3-0, a crew anchored by Okayama's own ISSIN (Koraku-kan High), a national-team designated athlete. It closed a matchup between a new generation and the hometown line-up.
In the U15 1 vs 1, B-girl Noa of Aichi stayed visibly sharp through every round. A composed run carried her to the title.
Ahead of the event, organizers visited the My Number Card Center across the plaza, and a decibel meter stayed live through the day — peaking at 81 dB, well under the 90 dB cap. The next morning's Sanyo Shimbun ran a feature, and NHK, OHK and KSB all sent crews. Holding open-air battles on a regular rhythm — this was the day that set OK BREAK in motion.
